The family was absent and police fear possible casualties as a thorough search continues. the isolated marshside property valued around 1000 dollars left only ashes with investigators guarding the scene.

The Massachusetts cotton mills in this city declare another dividend of three percent payable Feb. 1 to stockholders of record January 24. This second semi annual dividend follows a period with no distribution. Par value is $100. shares recently traded around $91 after peaking at $76.

Miss Mary A Leonard aged 50 to 60 was fatally injured when struck by a horse attached to a milk wagon while crossing Salem street on her way to Merrimack mills. She survived briefly after being taken home and to St Johns hospital but died just before 1 pm.
Mrs Annie Barbara Richardson nee Sawyer widow of Daniel S Richardson died at 7 08 P M at 150 Nesmith street after a brief illness. She was born October 7 1826 in Bolton and taught in Boston and Lowell rising to head of the girls department at Lowell High School. She served as trustee of State Industrial and Reform schools and on the State board of lunacy and charity. First president of Middlesex Women's club and active in First Unitarian church. Survived by brother-in-law Hon George F Richardson and two children Daniel M Richardson and Mrs Julian Talbot. Also notes other local obituaries: Jacob W Bean 83, Mary B Wilson 74, Stephen P Wiley 80.
The funerals occurred yesterday and this morning in Collinsville Rock street and Central street addressing Julia Bromley Ellen Murphy Francis Edward Moran and James W Twohey. Undertaker O'Donnell and Molloy led services with Fr Gilday Leonard and procession burial in Catholic cemetery.

A well hosted five oclock tea Wednesday afternoon featured Miss Susie Webber and Miss Evelyn Polk pouring. Guests praised the event as one of the season's pleasantest. Dr. T G Waller was summoned to Franklin Centre by his mother's death. Judge Samuel P Hadley returned from Bermuda improved in health.
Middlesex County report covers the Central Congregational church of Chelmsford hosting an annual supper. Rev E C Bartlett led prayers, A B Woodworth gave church history, C J Soderberg explained debt extinguishment from the recent church fair, and guests included Rev Granville Pierce and Rev R W Dunbar.
The Pollockers, a Billerica fisherfolk club, held a Thursday night dance in the town hall with Hib bard's orchestra providing music and refreshments served.
