Edward Shannon seventy, condemned for killing his wife in Belviere Illinois. He was sentenced yesterday to be hanged February 11 after his wife secured a divorce and he shot her as she left town. He showed little emotion during sentencing.

Withdrawals allowed for Joseph Fortin at 666 Merrimack Street and Fred Lagivne’s pool hall license at 460 Merrimack Street was revoked.
The annual statement of Middlesex Company was filed with the commissioner of corporations. The document appears to be a formal submission detailing financial and corporate information for the year.
The funeral for Hugh FE Maguire, who died Wednesday night from injuries after being struck by a train in the Boston and Maine yards, was held at 9 o clock this morning from St Michael’s Church. Rev Fr Gilday officiated, bearers were Michael Burns Thomas Conway James F McElholm Philip Callahan Joseph Fay and Frank Thornton. Burial followed at the Catholic cemetery under J F O'Donnell supervision with Rev Fr O’Brien at the grave.

A man named John Ryan was sent by police inspectors this morning for disposing seven napkin rings believed stolen from a boarding house. He was arrested. Board of Trade style. Clara asks about the Count. Milligans reports the Count would talk business if margins were high.
Louden Grover of Sardis Kentucky reports his daughter suffered back and hip pain after fever. After trying many remedies one bottle of Chamberlains Pain Balm gave complete relief. Chamberlains Balm also claimed as a cure for rheumatism. Sold by Ellingwood Co.
