Port Louis Mauritius January 18 The British India troop ship Warren Hastings was wrecked off the island Thursday morning All aboard were saved in the incident with no reported casualties aiding survivors and rescue efforts underway nearby authorities said amid cautious reports of damage to the vessel and its cargo.

Fines included amounts from three to fifteen dollars, with Mary Martin fined fifteen for shoe theft. William Roach denied guilt but was jailed ten months after evidence of larceny from his brother Andrew. Five Greeks paid fifteen dollars each for Sunday card playing.

Albert E. George a cook was found dead in bed this morning at his home 31 Webster Street. Death attributed to convulsions. A woman arrested at the Bon Marche for shoplifting last week gave the name Archambault and is not related to the undertaker of that name.

Michael Collins, manufacturer, improves and plans a southern health visit. Collins mills to be started by a new superintendent this week.
