Judge Barker approves distribution of 387966 from Ann White Vese estate to trustees for charity. Estate benefited Boston charities.

Douglas J. Neame wins divorce from Lilla Olive Neame on grounds of adultery with Frank Ellison. Ellison, recently freed from Sing Sing, had been jailed for assault on Mrs Neame’s father.

Lydia French died at her home 25 Barclay street on a Wednesday at age 91. Clark R. Caswell, once a local figure, died Thursday in Keene New Hampshire where he served as Boston and Maine local agent for years. He previously worked as a conductor on the Lowell and Lawrence and as depot master for the Boston and Lowell. On Boston and Lowell lease to Boston and Maine he moved to Keene where he continued residing. His wife was the daughter of locomotive engineer William Seaver. Funeral will be held in this city Monday.
Mr Willis N Tillotson and Miss Edith Belle Towne of Cadys Falls Vermont were married at 6 pm last night at the bride’s aunt Mrs Mary E Hart’s 243 High Street home by Rev C FE Fisher. The bride wore a dove gown with white chiffon and pearl trimmings. Miss Agnes McKinley was bridesmaid in nile green. Best man was Nehemiah A Towne. The house was decorated and a wedding supper followed before a short bridal trip.

An alarm from box 115 at 12 30 noon reported a shed fire attached to a house owned by James A Anderson in Billerica Street. The blaze started by an oil stove explosion and the shed burned entirely, while the house was saved with limited overall damage.
At a directors meeting this morning a two percent semi yearly dividend was declared payable February 1. The Captain John Ford Chapter, Children of the American Revolution will meet with Mrs. E. J. Neale at 11 Fort Hill avenue Saturday at 3 30 p m. All eligible under eighteen may join. Chris Holmes has closed out Littmann and Amster stock New York at 33 cents on the dollar and will dispose of his own holdings Saturday January 16.
