Mary E Martin aged 26 died suddenly from heart disease Tuesday at her home 6 Mullens court off Fayette street. She was employed as a ringspinner at Prescott mills and worked Monday as usual. In the evening she entertained guests and retired at her usual hour. She died twenty minutes after midnight.
Georgiana Gerow an 18 year old Nashua visitor to Lowell was arrested Tuesday afternoon for stealing two gold rings from jeweler J. A. Filton on Merrimack street. A ring was found in her mouth and the pair valued at seven dollars each.
Among the recent Middlesex postings A. P. Wright is named at East Pepperell and B Hildreth at Townsand. Hildreth, a former Townsend postmaster, is a prominent local businessman with prior service before the Cleveland administration.
Harry Walker a 14 year old Lowell boy found a 22 calibre revolver while skating near Tyngsboro yesterday afternoon and, while examining it, discharged a ball into his hand. Dr Ricker dressed the wound with minimal damage reported.
