Ballots chosen for finance committee and accounts committee with Hoover receiving six votes and Goward five votes respectively while three and four scatterings occurred. A joint convention order was ruled and appealed, then passed. Quay Carmichael Bent and blank tied for city solicitor with Quay declared elected. A ballot for superintendent of streets ordered as sessions continued at press.
