Nelson Lane longtime Nashua resident dies at his Thayer court home after a brief illness aged 0. He was born in Chester New Hampshire January 29 1815 and moved to Nashua at seventeen to work as a painter then in bottling and ice cutting. He was known for kindness giving coins to children and is survived by two daughters Miss Helen Lane and Mrs. Fannie L Coburn.
The Eliot church youth rode a railroad trip around the vestry area Tuesday evening with light refreshments at stops and music by Misses Alice Hutchinson and Harriet Lee. The social committee led by Roland Black included several members. An Old Residents’ committee proposed for Lowell’s 75th anniversary included Solon W. Stevens and others. Mr. and Mrs. Milton R.
