New York list shows McKinley 7,217,677 votes Bryan 6,357,853 with Woolley Barker Debs Maloney also tallied. Total votes cast 13,967,299 including 6,211 scattering. McKinley holds a plurality of 859,824 and a majority of 408,055.
Omaha, Neb. Dec. 20 Edward A. Cudahy, presumed kidnap victim, arrived home this morning. The family says nothing beyond confirming the kidnapping and that a reward will be paid.
Assignee Knowlton of Milford Savings Bank paid depositors another 10 percent dividend today, bringing the total distributed to 76 percent. The payment applies to Milford, New Hampshire, as of December 20.
An explosion of natural gas from a main leak in Beaver Falls near Pittsburg, Pennsylvania wrecked many houses and left seven people seriously injured. The disaster occurred today, with fire and structural damage reported across the area.
A beam collapsed in a mill as Ma honey fell onto Ware during a struggle to hold on. Ma honey suffered severe head burns and a skull fracture with internal injuries and died. Ware had a broken arm, fractured ribs, and facial injuries. Mahoney, 35, married, died. Ware, about 30, unmarried, survived.

In Fairfield Maine yesterday afternoon Patrick Mahoney and Edward Ware on the roof of the Somerset and Kennebec Pulp mill fell 75 feet into a chemical vat used for pulp prep. One man bruised and burned will die. the other injured but likely to recover. They were alone. cause unknown. Ware’s body was seen whirling toward the ground and Mahoney followed.

New York December 19 District Attorney Asa Bird Gardiner has filed an answer to the charges sent to him via Governor Roosevelt. The document will be forwarded to the Governor tomorrow as part of the ongoing inquiry.
New York December 19 coroner's inquiry into the death of Vicar General Barry of Concord New Hampshire who was run over by a street car November 1 returned a verdict of accidental death. The gripman of the car was exonerated.
Prof Ryder preached at the Seminary church last Sunday morning and afternoon but Sunday services are canceled for two weeks due to Christmas holidays. J P Torrey spoke to the academy society of inquiry, and Mrs Henry Whitman of Boston discussed opalescent glass at the November club. A 17 year old girl Marie Trudel drowned in the Merrimack River while skating near Aiken Street bridge. Two boys Alfred Terrien and Albert Goyette failed to escape. Goyette survived, Terrien rescued after 10 minutes. Search efforts by locals and workers continued as authorities retrieved bodies. The incident stirred a large crowd and affected the Lowell community.
Lloyd Stott aged four and Raymond Spencer aged five and a half, cousins from North Billerica, disappeared after being sent to buy a lamp chimney. Last seen in Mrs McCarty’s yard and later in Mrs Dennis Murphy’s yard, headed toward woods by the Concord river. Large search of townspeople followed as authorities checked the riverbanks.

Moses Taylor returns home from Lowell with a bad hand from a factory accident. Miss Clara Robbins and her niece Vinnie visit Warren Robbins in Montana for health. he appears to be improving more than she is.
In Marlboro Wednesday evening First Baptist church held recognition services for Rev J M Wyman formerly of Augusta Maine who has recently begun his services in town. The program included invocation scripture reading prayer sermon welcome to the association and charge to the pastor with benediction by the pastor.
Alma Johnson seven year old daughter of Mr and Mrs Sven Johnson of Central Avenue Malden died at Malden hospital on Wednesday from burns caused by her clothing catching fire at a bonfire near her home. She had suffered since the accident.
