Wheeler's division has moved except for Ninth and Tenth Virginia Cavalry, Went's division to depart soon leaving 582 behind, and Lawton's division will go next.
Patrick Davis faced murder assault charges over an attack on Patrick Egan at a Mammoth Road farm last week. Egan remains hospitalized and did not attend. The case was continued to August 25 with bail set at 86 dollars. Davis jailed. Other offenders faced small fines or brief sentences, including Lynn and Hutchins to Bridgewater, Roland and Doran to the workhouse for months.
