Unknown Man Found Dead in Pasture Near Aiken Avenue
A man between 55 and 60 was found in a pasture off Aiken Avenue near Barker Avenue by Willie Poulin, 10, about 9 am. Two unpaired shoes, whiskey bottles, and a black derby were found nearby. Medical Examiner notified. authorities suspect alcoholism, no foul play. A companion, a younger man seen drinking with him, fled after a quarrel. Identification of the deceased is pending.

Night freight wreck blocks two New York Central tracks
