The Lawrence Canoe club has appointed a committee to invite the Eastern Division of the American Canoe Association to select a site for their annual meet on the Merrimack river near here. If accepted, the association will likely meet on May 29 30 and $1 at Laurel Grove.

Israel Namis held in $100 to April 10 for threatening Heman Warsharoski. John Lynch held in $100 until April 9 for larceny. Josephine Stewart held in $100 for the Superior court on adultery charges.

Joseph H. Edwards died at his Roxbury home Sunday afternoon and funeral services are planned at St. Joseph's church in Roxbury. The Thornberg death is noted in this city at 17 Blossom street with age 71 years.
