Rites Today For Mrs. Estella Fox
Funeral services for 82 year old Estella Ray Fox will be held at the Lovington Chapel at 2 30 p m May 8 with Lynn Shelton of the Church of Christ in Tatum conducting and burial in Tatum. She was born March 16 1874 in Bell County Texas and moved to Lea County in 1910 where she lived since. Survived by three children Adrian Fox Mrs Ruby Hart and Mrs Rita Crank all of Tatum five grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was a member of the Tatum Church of Christ and died early Monday at her home.

Two Weekend Road Deaths Stun New Mexico
New Mexico endures two traffic fatalities over the weekend raising the year toll to 108. California resident Walter Roy Parker, 72, of Slythe, died in a one car crash on U S Highway 70 380 near Roswell when his vehicle left the road and rolled over. Indian man George Craig, age unlisted, was struck while walking on U S Highway 66 west of Wingate Ordnance Depot in Western New Mexico. The driver, George Hamilton Whetsotn of Riverside, California, was identified by state police. Craig was reportedly thrown 180 feet by the collision.
