T. J. Green, six miles northwest of town, has added a large pumping plant to irrigate an orchard and truck patch. The number 4 centrifugugal well uses modern machinery and promises to water fifty acres, with valley lands potentially selling for three to five hundred dollars per acre in orchard. Other wells are planned, signaling a growing opportunity.
J. S. Eaves R. F. Love E D Oliver Oscar Thompson George Crumb Albert Love John Graham and Harris Garrett departed yesterday in three autos for Carlsbad.
