Eugene Morris 27 of Lovington died Monday afternoon in Lea County Hospital after a brief illness from pneumonia. An employee of Halliburton Oil Co. he was a field man survived by his wife. Home at 307 West Avenue Q Lovington. Resting at Green Chapel Hobbs the interment will be in Wichita Kansas.

New Move Made To Deport Bridges
The U S government renews its bid to revoke citizenship of Harry Bridges 53 year old leader of the International Longshoremen and Warehousemen Union in San Francisco. Chief Assistant U S Attorney Linn Girard filed a memorandum opposing Bridges motion to dismiss the civil suit and restore the case to the court calendar. Knifing Lands One In Jail One in Hospital
