Public School Benefit Entertainment at Glicws Hall

Pupils stage Hinvestha in five acts at Glicws Hall next Friday evening January 31. Admission 25d with reserved seats. Proceeds fund a school library. Curtain rises 7:30. Tickets on sale at the Drug Store on the 29th.

State Penitentiary Reforms Reported in Annual Review

The New Mexico Penitentiary annual repost notes improvements on February 15 1913 including 187 scrub chickens and 251 fowls with 64 scrub. An old stable became a fowl house at no cost and six wagons were overhauled. Fire protection expanded with 21 extinguishers and 250 feet of hose reducing insurance premiums by 280.57, more than twice the cost of extinguishers and oil house.
