Funeral services for Mrs. Doris McCarthy Carter 24 of Buckeye were held at the First Methodist Church in Lovington on Tuesday at 2 p.m. Rev. W R Houston officiated. She was born March 1 1926 in Eliasville Texas and died November 26 at Lea County Hospital in Hobbs. Burial followed in Lovington Cemetery with pallbearers named from Hobbs Seminole Millsap and Graham.
