State Police announced shortly before noon Wednesday that escaped killer Franklin L. Lindemuth was recaptured in Santa Fe after walking away from a prison work detail on Monday. Police fear he may have left the area and seek possible outside help. a statewide alarm was issued. Also, two Los Lunas prison farm trusties, Jerry Dan Carter and Doyle Raymond Lasiter, were captured hiding in brush about two miles from Los Lunas after escaping earlier today.
