Dr Ricard E Brubaker a Belen osteopath was sentenced to 15 months in prison and ordered to pay prosecution costs in Albuquerque after a federal jury in Santa Fe found him guilty of income tax evasion. Thieves Take Motors and Faucets From Farley Car

Car thieves in Lovington stole air conditioning gear from a parked vehicle owned by Phil Farley of Wichita Falls. They took about five dozen faucets worth 40 dollars and a dozen motors valued at 90 dollars each from the car port at 208 We Ave, home of Farley’s son in law, Charles Pappas.

H M Jenkins 59 of Notrees Texas was found dead in bed at his son Gus Jenkins home late Tuesday night. A coroner's jury ruled death due to natural causes after Dr Hopkins examined him. The son Gus, an employee of Lea County Electric, reported the body on Wednesday afternoon.
