Reunion Marred By Accident In Artesia Family Reunites After Crash
A Vietnam veteran visiting his hospitalized daughter in Artesia was reunited with his wife and two other children when their car crash on the way to the hospital left the family injured. The 2-year-old Melanie suffered a skull fracture and broken wrists, while April and Robin endured lacerations and bruises. Mrs. Judy Ward, driver, is bruised but recovering. the family’s car was a total loss. The father, on a 30 day emergency leave, will rejoin them after hospital treatment.
