Mrs Winnie Kuykendall of Lordsburg was installed as grand chief of the Pythian Sisters during the Grand Lodge session at Knights of Pythias Castle Hall. Milton Johnson of Belen became grand chancellor and Glenn Dorsett of Lordsburg grand outer guard. Mrs Bethel Fuller of Lordsburg was installed as grand musician. Mrs. Helen McQueen Austin, born February 1, 1890 in Chicago, died September 15 after an extended illness. She lived in Lordsburg 48 years and was married to Dr. C Banks Austin. Services were held at Heather Chapel and St Josephs Catholic Church with Rev. Daniel Alderette officiating. burial in Mountain View. Surviving relatives include Ken McQueen of Chicago and several in-laws of Lordsburg and Yerington Nevada.
