Lordsburg Airport contract terminated amid court threat
The Lordsburg City Council ended the Clondts as airport managers saying a renewal dispute exists with City Attorney Rick Sherman noting a forthcoming letter. The council considered interim management by the Mayor while awaiting a new contract as Lazar R. Based at UNM School of Medicine, she called the experience the nation’s best DMAT and life changing. The scene felt like a war zone with military presence and extensive destruction.

Benjamin Vasquez Ybarra a 79 year old Lordsburg resident died at Gila Regional Medical Center on September 2 1992 He was born January 19 1913 in Rancho de Marcos Jalisco Mexico to Miguel and Isabel Ybarra He worked as a Miner and Mill operator and belonged to St Josephs Catholic Church in Lordsburg Calling hours were September 6 at St Josephs vigil 7 pm funeral September 7 at 10 am Fr Sam Garcia officiating Committal at Shakespeare Cemetery Lordsburg He is survived by three sons Benny Ybarra Jr Richard Ybarra Gilbert Ybarra three daughters Carmen Gandara Empidia Medina Irene Vasques two sisters Deloris Chacon Connie Burkey 17 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
