Lordsburg Mayor Hill Resigns During City Council Meeting
Stephen Hill resigned as Lordsburg mayor effective September 30 at a regular council meeting. After 7 1/2 years in city government he was transferred to Silver City by Texas New Mexico Power and now resides there. Clark Smith was named Mayor Pro Tem until the next election, and Daniel Placencia was appointed as the new Mayor Pro Tem, both appointments recommended by Hill.

Authentic Jarabe Tapello at Shakespeare Ghost Town Event
