Animal School Board Sets Real Estate Sale Plans
The Animal School Board voted to sell the Rodeo School property as one tract and to auction the 2 acre Cloverdale site in Hidalgo County. An appraiser cited access, utilities and vandalism risks for a playground on the six acre Rodeo tract, while a November 11 auction for Cloverdale is planned. A district coffee for Senator Joe Montoya is scheduled October 25.

Handicapped Meeting Planned in Silver City
A regional meeting for disabled residents from Catron Grant Hidalgo and Luna counties is set for Saturday Oct 23 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Public Safety Building Silver City. The event is the last of seven in New Mexico to collect input for a statewide report to the 1977 White House Conference on Handicapped Individuals in Washington.
