Animal School Board Maps Paving And Drainage Plan

Lordsburg School Board Ends Session Talks on Parental Involvement

Stake Out Pays Off For Police In Lordsburg
Hidalgo officers conducted a 14 hour stake out last week and captured three fugitives in Lordsburg. Barbara Escobar and Lisa Adler from Silver City were arrested on armed robbery warrants, while Lorenzo Mora from Animas, an escapee from the New Mexico State Penitentiary, was also apprehended. Sheriff Billy Darnell said two suspects hid in one home and another in a separate residence as the operation unfolded with officers watching four residences. Mora was seen entering a vehicle and departing, then stopped on the road by Officers Lloyd Payne and Bob Kramer. Adler and Escobar were arrested by Darnell, Payne, and McDonald.
