City Council OKs 300 Monthly Charge for Mountain States Co
City council approved a motion to bill Mountain States Telephone and Telegraph 300 per month for street and alley use claiming the company has no valid 1916 franchise. Plane Hits Truck At Cotton City
An AV pest control plane from Deming struck a Cotton City pickup driven by Mrs. Arturo Escalante as she crossed the landing strip. The plane was destroyed and the truck damaged. all occupants received first aid and were released. The pilot was shaken but not hospitalized. The CAP of Cotton City seeks strip approval, restricting vehicle crossing.
