After heavy rains a number of gold nuggets from pin head to half ounce have been found in the Geld gulch head on the Victory lode near Hachita. The Lithhe Hatchet Mining Company holds ground above the gulch and has found 5 to 25 dollar in place dykes. Prospects trace placer gold up the gulch toward its head with source likely nearby. Development at the Faria shaft continues toward the 200 foot level as the 200 station is cut.

Norman King and Ballali Groups Mines Sold to A. Mining Goa
The Norman King and Ballali groups of mines, discovered over twenty years ago, have been sold to A. Mining Goa by engineers H. W. Evans and L. Butler. The Norman King, opened 1918 by John Christy, yielded near 50 000 in ore with a 160 foot shaft and a 100 foot level. A high grade assay shows 22 oz gold and 100 oz silver in a six inch streak.
