Grant County Cattlemen and the Chamber of Commerce will renew support for 4-H and FFA feeding programs in 1941. At the Eastern New Mexico Live Show and Fair in Lordsburg, Grant County calves won prizes and drew wide attention, proving the region ideal for feeder calves. The Lordsburg event highlighted strong results across Hidalgo and Luna counties with top prices for yearlings and a grand champion, while leaders Dick McDonald and Charles Story were re-elected to guide the program.
