Problems arising from the Public Domain under the Taylor Grazing Act will be discussed at the New Mexico Cattle Growers Association five quarterly Executive Board meeting in Lordaeburg on June 4. The federation will back law enforcement and review county tax committee reports with officials at budget hearings to address cattle theft and State livestock industry concerns.

Pursuit Squadrons Visit Lordsburg Airport Overnight

Twenty eight ships from the 55th and 77th pursuit squadrons under Major H O D Hunter landed at Lordsburg Airport Saturday afternoon and stayed overnight. They departed for Barksdale Field the next morning. A brief squall damaged the hangar roof, costing just under 400 dollars per Sergeant Apple. A sand storm lashed southern New Mexico the night before from the Texas plains.

Anita Clayton Sets Off for Honolulu Trip

Miss Anita Clayton daughter of Mr and Mrs Tom Clayton has a rare opportunity to travel to Honolulu with her aunt and uncle Mr and Mrs Tom Goad of San Antonio Texas. Collier Sentenced to State Pen 9 to 10 Years

A Deming man, J. B. Collier, was found guilty of manslaughter in the slaying of William S. Hatcher. He received a nine to ten year sentence at hard labor in the New Mexico State Penitentiary in Santa Fe. The trial followed a disputed partnership ending in a dispute over assets and a gun discharge during a struggle over the weapon.

Postmaster General to Attend Deming Building Dedication
