Body of Lordsburg Marine Arrives for Burial
The body of Robert Swan of Lordsburg New Mexico arrived at noon with military escort for burial in the Lordsburg home cemetery. Swan, a private in Company I 6th Marines 9th Company 2nd Division, was killed at Soissons July 19 1918. Burial honors were arranged by the American Legion with a large wreath from state and local groups, and services held at the Christian Church.
