Elephants Run Loose at Fairgrounds Sunday Night
Police report seven elephants wandering near the fairgrounds around 2:45 am Monday after a call from Bill Ware. Mrs Caraway Dies In Deming Hospital
Funeral services were held in Deming for Mrs Made lyn Fischbach Caraway who died Thursday May 2 in Mimbres Memorial Hospital. A 40 year resident, she and her late husband Robert were involved in mining in Hidalgo County and surrounding areas. Burial followed at Mountain View Cemetery in Deming.

Service Officer to Visit Lordsburg VFW Post
