The dedication of the new high school is set for Sunday evening May 20 with John Milne and Tom Wiley as principal speakers. Open House runs 1 30 to 6 00 PM hosted by the Parent Teachers Association. Senior class ushers will guide guests. Wesley Freeburg and Rev Lester J Brunner appear among others.

Man Killed In Unusual Circus Truck Accident
A circus crew member, Teddie Hart, 43, died after a trailer door opened on a road trip to this city. Hart was in the back of a trailer when the door detached, threw him out, and he was run over by the trailer wheels. He died thirty minutes after arrival at Hidalgo County hospital. Undersheriff Ebb Jackson led the investigation. a coroner's jury ruled accidental death. Eva Davenport of Genizales, Texas, owner, said Hart had been with the show 11 years.

Elks Club Minstrel Show Draws Record Crowd

The Hall family has long been part of Lordsburg history with early ancestor T EB Hall linked to Eagle Drug Co. and local public service roles.
