High winds topple mobile home at Animas trailer court
A 12 by 65 foot mobile home at Wamel Trailer Court blew into two neighboring trailers in Animas. No injuries were reported. The Martinez trailer was destroyed and Lopez and Alba Mortensen trailers sustained repairs estimated from a few hundred to two thousand dollars. Local youth Ralph Ahuerro witnessed debris and insulation simulating snowfall as parts of the toppled unit wrapped around adjacent trailers.
