Infant Dies in Silver City Neighborhood

Little Miss Dorothy Frances Baker infant daughter of Clyde and Mabel Baker of Silver City died at the family home on Thursday February 28 after a short illness. Burial was in Las Cruces. Mr. Baker is scout executive for the Gila Grande Area and Mrs. Baker is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Williams who once lived here. Messages of sympathy are extended to the bereaved family.

Charles Thomas Broun Dies After Flu At City Home

Charles Thomas Broun seven year old son of Mr. and Mrs A Broun died at home early Thursday from flu complications. Funeral services at the Christian Church at 3 39 p m Friday followed by a burial in Mountain View Cemetery. Born January 6 1922 in this city he had lived here all his life. The community expresses heartfelt sympathy to the family in this hour of sorrow.
