Community Public Service Co Expands Lordsburg Plant Capacity

McDonald to Speak at PTA Meeting

Square Dance Festival Planned for El Paso

Reed Jr Shoots Largest Javelina in Hidalgo County Hunt
Loyd G. Reed Jr. aged 16 holds the record for the largest javelina of 48 pounds shot with a rifle south of Stein's Pass during the second javelina hunt. The hunt runs through March 8 with 150 licenses issued and 134 hunters checking in at T and T Cafe. 53 javelinas have been killed. Hunters come from across New Mexico, mainly in the Peloncillo Range north of Steins toward the Mexican border. Conservation Officer S Virgil Jones calls the season very successful.
