Underwater Living by Diving Team Aims to Tap Continental Riches
Edwin A. Link and a 20 member team will live inside an inflated rubber dwelling 600 feet beneath Northwest Providence Channel off the Bahamas. Sponsored by the National Geographic Society, the project seeks to prove underwater habitation and access mineral wealth, oil, and food on the continental shelf.
