Public notice of Water Rights Application in San Simon Basin
On November 2 1960 C F Weatherby of Animas New Mexico filed permit applications SS 10 8S 11 88 12 SS 13 with the State Engineer to appropriate 1932 acre feet per year of shallow ground waters for irrigation of 644 acres. Four wells each 16 inches in diameter and about 300 feet deep would serve parcels in Lot 5 Section 1 Township 27 South Range 22 West N M P M and Lot 6 Section 1 and Lot 1 Section 1 on the San Simon Basin water plan.
