Methodist Women Update On New Name And Missions

United Methodist Women held a meeting at Mrs C C Fuller home. Members received official membership cards with the new purpose. The board name changes to The Methodist Board of Global Ministries. Regina Newton spoke on missions and 60 percent local budgets. Plans included a lawn supper in August and luncheon for the Knights of Pythian Grand Assembly on Sept 22. Next meeting Aug 7 at Marian Gabriel’s.
