Mrs. D. L. Will hosted a delightful reception and luncheon for the eighth grade girls in honor of Beryl Wood's birthday. Decoration and luncheon reflected the gold and purple class colors. Jewell Ownby, Johnnie Tyson, and Genevieve Bailey won prizes in the guessing game. Each girl received a string of beads with the guest of honor given a vanity.
