The event features stereo tape examples of polkas cumbias rancheras and conjuntas and is scheduled for 8 p.m. Thursday June 21 at the Lordsburg Community Cultural Center on Fourth Street. Lordsburg Hikes Water Sewer Rates In City Action
Lordsburg city fathers approved an ordinance raising domestic water to five dollars for the first 2000 gallons and fifty cents per extra thousand, commercial water six dollars for the first 2000 gallons with eighty cents per extra thousand, and sewer rates at six eighty per month. A waste treatment ordinance was also approved, introducing a four tier commercial waste-classification system ranging from seven fifty to thirty dollars monthly for large complexes.
