County Considers Modular Clinic For Hidalgo County
Hidalgo County Commissioners tentatively approve purchasing a 24 by 60 modular clinic to be leased by the Health Care Council for use by a visiting doctor from the National Health Service Corps. The all electric structure includes offices, exam rooms, a waiting area, rest rooms, a lab, and space for a nurse practitioner. The county will own the building with the council leasing it for medical use in Lordsburg.

Dr. Edward Reisman of Atlanta is set to start private practice in Lordsburg in early August. He has served as a general surgeon in Atlanta and will join Hidalgo County as an employee of the National Health Service Corps. He will practice general medicine while in Lordsburg.

Hidalgo County Sets Interim Budget For 1976 77
Hidalgo County received interim approval Tuesday on an operating budget for fiscal year 1976 77 totaling 697 144 after a hearing with the State Department of Finance and local officials. The county commissioners must formally accept to make it official. The plan allocates 336 865 to the general fund 105 876 to road 11 523 to fire 25 000 to farm and range 2 750 to recreation and 215 000 to revenue sharing. Also approved was a hospital operating budget totaling 385 260. A special commissioners meeting is set for June 21 at 5 p.m.
