Hospital Auxiliary Logs Active Schedule
The hospital auxiliary met with 10 members present to review committee reports. Sewing chair Vera Craddock reported six gowns and pajamas mended and returned. Christmas decorating chair Oma McCants, Evelyn Folk, and Bess Jenson named. plan to bring cheer to December patients. Bess Jenson will donate an oil painting for a later money making project. Members voted to buy a new stretcher cart at an estimated $200. Thanks extended to Dr. Baxter for his time.

Local Artists Urged to Donate for Art for Heart Auction
New Mexico artists from across the state are invited to donate oil paintings, water colors, pastels, bronze and other sculptures to the Second Annual Art For Heart Auction for the Heart Fund. Collection points exist in Hidalgo County at 140 East Railroad Avenue or First National Bank, with contact Mrs. Andra Evenson. Donations must arrive by June 15 to allow transport to Albuquerque for the June 21 to 23 event at Winrock Shopping Center Mall.

Hidalgo County Seeks Bids for Gasoline Diesel to Roads
The Hidalgo County Commissioners invite sealed bids for gasoline diesel delivery to the county road department at several locations near Lordsburg including Clayton Yarbrough Place Vir den and J W McCarty Place. Deliveries run July 1 to December 31 1973 with price quotes excluding federal taxes. Sealed bids due June 29 1973 at 10 30 A.M. at the County Clerk office Lordsburg. The board may reject bids and waive formalities.
