Shooting Inquest Set For June 15 In Lordsburg
An inquest into the death of Carlos Bejarano is set for June 15 at 10 a.m. in the Hidalgo County Court House Lordsburg presided by Dr J H Baxter with ten witnesses to be called. Bejarano died after a shooting in Hidalgo General Hospital emergency room May 3. The inquest will determine if a criminal act or other cause contributed to death and may include autopsy findings.

Hidalgo County Commissioners and DFA officials approve a tentative 1973 74 budget at the May 23 hearing totaling 911 897 with 762 400 in credits and 149 497 in taxes. Valuation figures cited include 20 745 861 total, 10 748 432 assessed, and 9 961 429 corporate value.
