Three fires hit the Lordsburg area in a week. A lightning sparked blaze near Clayton ranch burned about ten acres and was fought by locals including Mrs. Clayton’s friends. Weewoka home southeast of town was nearly lost with water carried by truck. Decoration Day Observed by American Legion and Units
Decoration Day was observed with exercises and a parade on Railroad Avenue led by the American Legion the Auxiliary and a Drum and Bugle Corps. Rev.
