Road Improvement Project Slows Traffic On Hyy 90
A State Highway and Transportation project slows traffic on State Road 90 south of Silver City. Starting at the railroad overpass 10 miles south, the 4.25 mile segment toward White Signal will have lane closures and a single open lane guided by flaggers and pilots. The area speed limit is 35 mph. James Hamilton Construction Co. of Silver City won the $2.6 million contract at the April 24 letting, with work expected to finish by year end.
