Mates Permanent Fund Surpasses 250 Million Mark

Dockum Wins First Place in Little League Playoff

Clyde L. Bickerstaff announced available application forms for non attorneys and non accountants to take qualifying exams for Treasury Department practice. The 1964 Special Enrollment tests are set for September 24 and 25 in this district. applications and a 25 fee must reach the Director of Practice in Washington by September 1 1964. Girl In Critical Condition From Gunshot Wound
Ruthie Reager 17 was in critical condition from a gunshot wound at her Cotton City home about 11 20 am Thursday. Her brother George 14 was unloading a 22 caliber pistol in his room when it discharged through a wall striking Ruthie below the left armpit and lodging in her chest. First aid and responders rushed to the scene then she was taken by ambulance to Hidalgo General Hospital and later transferred to an El Paso hospital by air.
