City officials in Lordsburg met in a special session to decide whether to turn off or scale back Interstate 10 street lights. He noted the current lighting is excessive but must stay on to meet federal guidelines. City manager Wilson Conover says Lordsburg seeks citizen ideas for recreation uses of the new east I 10 lake fed by reclaimed disposal water. The enlarged lake nears a volume for potential recreational development under a grant application to the Bureau of Outdoor Recreation.
