Strike Day Paralyzes Lordsburg B and P Shop
M. M. Owens the round house foreman says the big strike shut the Lordsburg B and P shop for a 96 hour period from July 1 to July 5. Four engines were handled and four workers did the work of forty as managers reported no sleep during the period. The plant fire was lit again at 10:05 a.m after being put out at 10 a.m. on the strike day.
