The New Mexico State Highway Department plans to install new traffic signals with three arrows for left turns green yellow red. Yellow provides clearance between green and red. red means no turn. Pedestrian signals shift away from red and green to reduce confusion in poor visibility. New signs include Wrong Way and Do Not Enter with more symbol usage. Red will dominate new regulatory markers.
