A crowd gath ered Sunday as light gravity oil shows were noted at about 1300 feet, marking the fourth such find. Johnson, a youth, claims to locate oil with a simple wire apparatus. The Willcox rig is nearly up and drilling may begin by July 1 with at least five rigs expected nearby within 50 days.

A Bowie visitor inspected Mr. Lundquist's Willcox oil site and reported three producing wells about twenty feet apart. The wells are pumped roughly every two hours with one yielding high grade gasoline and the other two distillates. Lundquist wholesales gasoline at 106 per gallon.
