Mrs. L Hoggett mother of Mare fin and Jack Hoggett of Animas neighborhood died in San Antonio Texas Monday January 19 after a short illness Funeral held at the Baptist Church in Junction Wednesday January 24 She was born January 20 1870 in Gonzales County and the family moved to Kimble County in 1902 Nine children survived including Marlin and Jack Hoggett Also surviving are Hoy Mrs Davis Jack Turner Ruth Lee and Pierce Hoggett of Junction The family notes her community involvement and three sons served in the war

Mrs A W Morningstar received notice of the death of her mother Mrs Amanda Lawton at 87. Lawton lived most of her life on a farm near Bemus Point New York. She leaves two daughters Mrs Morningstar and Mrs Costello and an adopted son in California.
